The forms of organization of scientific laboratories and their interaction with the departments of University are considered on the example of Interdisciplinary Center for Basic Research (ICBR) at Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. Particularly, ICBR enables to solve some essential problems concerning an interaction of the laboratories, namely:
1. Establishing interdisciplinary research involving the laboratories;
2. Organization of integrated scientific seminar for members of the laboratories and students;
3. Organization of training of members of the laboratories and students in leading research centers;
4. Creation of a network of equipment that can be used by a number of laboratories;
5. Optimization of expenses by mutual utilization of consumptions;
6. Hospitality in preparation of proposals to different funds concerning the laboratories;
7. Information support;
8. Coordination of educational programs.
